Climate Counts created the Industry Innovators (i2) program to help companies investing in real climate solutions deepen their market impact. The program was launched in February 2010 with the participation of six charter companies - Amtrak, Ben & Jerry's, Clif Bar, REI, Shaklee, and Timberland - who chose to go through the rigorous Climate Counts i2 scoring process, used to track the climate performance of nearly 150 other well-known companies since 2007. In June of 2011, Annie's Homegrown joined the growing list of i2 partners. Each i2 member has earned Climate Counts' top designation. i2 extends the scope of Climate Counts to track businesses not currently ranked in its annual scores.
