Actor/activist Adrian Grenier and film producer Peter Glatzer founded SHFT after creating the TV show ALTER ECO for Discovery's Planet Green. The two teamed with sustainability/design expert Lauren Gropper to build a platform that uses media to curate the myriad sustainable choices now available to consumers and to highlight the cultural shift taking place. SHFT serves as a destination for responsible companies sharing SHFT's core value of a more sustainable marketplace to spread their message and produce content.
Climate Counts is working with SHFT to ensure climate-conscious consumers support higher scoring companies when they shop, and send messages to lower scoring companies reminding them them that climate change matters to consumers.
